APS PowerFuel 380 RX

APS PowerFuel 380HV High Voltage fuel pump, designed to work with any gas engine, but particularly useful with radial engines where crankcase pressure cannot be used to drive the carby's inbuilt fuel pump.

Fuel pump with integrated exhaust and pressure limiting valve. The valve of the PowerFuel RX V2 fuel pump is already integrated ready for connection.

Due to use of the head valve the pump is absolutely tight. Even at inconvenient installation position below the tank no fuel will leak out.

Improvements of Version 2

In addition to the faster ventig and the larger possible flow rate, due to the new self-venting head valve the duration of a possible pressure drop is greatly reduced. Pressure drops can occur when the pendulum sucks in air (e. g. possible during aerobatic maneuvers). Any dropouts or even stoppages can be avoided thanks to the new head valve. In addition, the clogging of the breather is prevented.

1x PowerFuel RX-U V2 Fuel pump, 2 retaining clamps, 1 patch cable, 1 T-piece tube connector, 1 tube and 1 quick reference guide.

Note for use with a JETI duplex system: The pulse frequency of the system should be set to 8 or 20 milliseconds. If the pulse frequency is set to "AUTO", malfunctions of the pump electronics are possible.

Above all the shapely pump head with integrated pressure control and exhaust valve is a novelty. Because of that mounting and connection of the fuel pump are simplified. 

Combined with the new electric motor which is aligned to the pump the current consumption was reduced for approx. 25%. Due to the omission of the front pressure valve the dimensions of the pump were reduced. The delivery rate of the PowerFuel 380HV fuel pump is, depending on the supply voltage, between 325ml/min. and 425ml/min. Further variations and delivery rates can be produced at request. Delivery includes retaining clamps, screws, PUN hose, T-piece adapter for backflow into tank and operating manual.
