T-Hobby AT2317 Motor

The T-Hobby AT2317 1250KV Motor is ideal for pairing with GT45A ESC, for use on Pilot-RC's great new hybrid planes like the 39" Edge. 

Here are some suggested prop and lipo combos on the 39" Edge, thanks to our long term customer and friend Danny for his work below:

*Beginner - APC 11 x 4.7SF prop, 3S 1500mAh. This would do 42A sustained. Hovers, Harriers are a doddle, power is good and while speed wasn't too shabby once you're 1 min into the flight things still happen slow enough for a beginner not to be overwhelmed.

*Intermediate - APC 10 x 7 SF prop, 3S 1500mAh. This is an excellent next step after they have gotten over the pucker effect of oh my God am I going to crash this thing. The speed is a step up. Harriers are a doddle and Hovers are a tad more difficult but you get the hang of it. I will say this initially peaks at 50A current draw and then settles down to 41A.

*Advanced - T-Motor 9.5x6.5 4S 1300mAh - It's totally ballistic on this. Low speed flight is actually pretty reasonable, the only tricky thing is the hover. It takes a little while to get used to it. After mastering this, I reckon you could jump straight to 60" plane. I wouldn't blink about sending a graduate of this to an AM600 powered EF Edge 60" EXP.

For the 3S config for my style of flying I'm landing on 1000mAh used. The 4S current use is the same.
