Extreme Flight RC recommend the Theta 989 mini servo for 67" aerobatic aircraft. They choose this very high-performance servo for their 67" RxR aircraft.
The 989 is well-matched to our EF 1.25" 25T lightweight servo arms.
The THL798 Theta Servo is a full size brushless servo that is capable of handling high voltage of up to 8.4V. The high torque brushless servo delivers incredible power and can be used for RC airplanes, cars, and trucks.
Introducing the Theta SPB-1 Servo Program Box – your go-to for modifying all the parameters of your Theta servos! This convenient, advanced program box gives you the power to fine-tune your seros with accuracy and precision; from centering, direction, current draw and pulse width, you can easily configure every aspect of your Theta servos.
No need for a NFC enabled Android phone either; this program box can modify parameters of a wide variety of servos including the Kenny Ko edition (THS921) that are not NFC enabled. All this power packed in an easy-to-use device – what could be better?
The PowerBox iServo HVC.45 has been completely developed according to our specifications. The housing design alone indicates that the new iServo is something special. Top quality, maximum durability and, above all, maximum precision were the top priorities during development.
The PowerBox iServo HVC.45 was designed in coreless technology for high starting torque, maximum position accuracy and rock-solid holding accuracy. In conjunction with a high-precision Hall sensor, a special control algorithm has been developed that is unparalleled in terms of positioning speed. The PowerBox iServo HVC.45 does not overshoot when reaching the target position. The largest possible ball bearings on the 8 mm output shaft and solid gears give our high-end servo the necessary durability.
The connection for the patch cable disappears completely into the housing and is secured with a screw-on retaining clip. Cutting cables and soldering extensions is therefore a thing of the past.
Electronically, the PowerBox iServo HVC.45 has something unique to offer: for the first time, two large capacitors are built into the servo. This effectively prevents reverse currents and, above all, provides energy for the motor when current peaks have to be absorbed due to the cable length.
The software puts the new iServo at the forefront of what is technically feasible. The PowerBox iServo HVC.45 not only works with the PWM standard, but also with the widely used S.BUS. However, the full functionality of the iServo is utilized with the P²-BUS. The P²-BUS provides all telemetry data in real time on the transmitter display. In addition, the servo can be fully parameterized via the transmitter. The setting options are huge: servo travel (±5000°), current limiting, holding characteristics, start-up characteristics and much more.
The settings can be made not only via our PowerBox transmitters, but also with the Mobile Terminal!
The SAVÖX SB-3290SG servo is a brand new patented technology developed by SAVÖX.
With the new SB-3290SG servo, Taiwanese manufacturer Savöx has once again made a revolution in servo drive technology. The newly developed eight-pole AC motor of this "monster" not only provides a lower weight (72 g) compared to its predecessor SB-2290SG (81 g), but also higher efficiency and significantly lower heat production. After 5 minutes of operation, it remains up to 20% cooler than the SB-2290SG model. This significant improvement means that the servo delivers maximum power for much longer, and the model is much "harder, more direct and more accurate."
Thanks to the latest technology, the SB-3290SG tube is much quieter and almost inaudible during normal operation. The well-known "beep" of digital servos has been almost eliminated without having to accept any drawbacks.
Especially in extreme flights with heavy loads, there is an unparalleled increase in performance. An all-new motor design with a newly developed 32-bit MCU (Motor Control Unit) carries many advantages that offer ambitious 3D and aerobatic pilots new possibilities in flight. By comparison, the SB-3290SG's resting current is about 80 mA, while the SB-2290SG requires about 250 mA.
The lower weight is particularly advantageous for large models weighing up to 25 kg. When installing the SB-3290SG servo, a difference of 9 grams per servo is clearly visible, making it easier to find the ideal center of gravity.
The SB-3290SG was tested for several months in countless tests by the best pilots in Germany and improved step by step, until we reached the point where we can talk about a real revolution, not just a product tuning !
To facilitate individual wiring, the negative pole of the cable is no longer completely black as in the SB-2290SG, but is now gray, making it more recognizable.
Of course, the SB-3290SG has a soft start, meaning that the servo slowly moves to the desired position as soon as the power supply/amplifier is turned on.
The SB-3290SG servo is suitable for use in helicopters, RC cars and fixed-wing models. The patented SB-329X series will be expanded to include other types of servos in the near future.
The servo features a much larger AC motor, which not only provides high power and speed, but also optimally dissipates heat thanks to its aluminum housing. Thanks to the new motor and gearbox concept, it was possible to add a third ball bearing to the servo, improving accuracy and reliability.

Compatible with SSR mode

The Pilot-RC Simple Servo Adjuster is intended mainly for use on servos that control gear doors.
It allows you to control the servo speed, reverse, end points and sub-trim.
The main use for the Simple Servo Adjuster is for use on Gear Doors, when your receiver, powerboat or radio does not have enough free channels to independently setup and program the door servos. It can also be used to intentionally use the same channel as the gear switch to keep your setup simple.
All is controlled intuitively via the three rotary knobs and reverse switch.
